Glamping, Touring & Camping FAQ’s

Can I book online?
Yes: visit www.gillespie-leisure.co.uk and click ‘book now’ or click the Book Now button at the top of this page.

What are the pitches like?
Most pitches are of grass with a few hard standing pitches with electric hook-up for our motorhomes and tourers.

Do you take tents?
Yes, we have grass pitches in our non-electric and electric tent areas.

What type and length of cable do I need for my electric pitch?
You need a standard outdoor 16 amp/240v mains electric cable, up to 15 metres long.

Is there an additional charge for electric?
No, it’s included within your nightly charge.

Is there an iron and ironing board?
Yes, in the laundry area at the toilet block.

Are the facilities and activities available all year round?
The park is open from 1^st April (or at Easter, if it’s earlier) till 31^st October.

Can I request a pitch number?
Yes, if it’s free when you book.

What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival time for touring and camping pitches is from 1pm. Departure time is 11am.
Let us know if you are going to arrive later than 5.00pm to make arrangements.

Where can I park my car?
Next to your tourer, pod or tent.

Can I book more than one pitch?
Yes. Please give us the names and details of those you’re booking for when you pay your and their deposit(s). We do accept group bookings as long as you ring and check with us beforehand.

Can I be next to my friends and family?
Let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to place you as near to each other as possible.

Can I put my awning up?
Yes, but only for a short time, so not to destroy the grass. Note: There is an additional charge to have an awning.
